DESCRIPTION: From parking on route 111 ascend the rocky drainage culvert to the north end of the cliff face. terrain is steep with loose footing. Once reaching the top of the drainage cross the chicken wire fence and continue through open woods to the summit. There are no official markings are the summit and there are no views. I did find a geocache ammo box very close to the summit.

NOTES / COMMENTS:
Gordon's Hill is the highest point in the town of Salem. I would not recommend my route as parking on the busy stretch of 111 is a concern, the incline is steep and footing is not secure as well as a waist high chicken wire fence needs to be navigated. I would recommend parking on Aladdin Road and taking a longer and more gradual approach over snowmobile trails.
