DESCRIPTION: Parked on the Northern side of Rt 112 about 200 Ft from the start of the bushwhack. Entered woods at a break in the guardrain near a marshy stream area. Bushwhacked almost due South. The lower elevations were thicker spruce as we increased elevation the woods became less dense with taller trees. Still anywhere from 1 to 4 Ft of snow on the ground and footing was insecure. I post holed every 5 to 10 steps.
HIKING TIMES: 1 Hr 15 Min Ascent / 45 min Descent
NOTES / COMMENTS: The hike is relatively straight forward and uneventful. Bushwhacked via the path of least resistance to the col between Kancamagus and it's NW Knob. Then headed due East to the summit canister.
